Overview
The fourth edition of Day of the City was held online as a livestream festival for the first time. Around 800 remote-working professionals, civil servants, and city makers came together to discuss urban innovation and resilience in times of crisis.
What
Online festival
At the Honig Complex, we transformed six different locations into full livestream studios. With two talk show settings, a TEDx-style jazz club, various presentation spaces, and a green screen room, it became a true online festival site.
7 hours packed with content
With 14 guest speakers, 16 workshops, and numerous presentations and breakout sessions, the program was fully loaded. Clean Pete provided musical interludes. Participants could choose between six different streams, as if attending a real festival. Moderators, live chat, and polling features enabled active participation throughout.
Corona proof
Behind the scenes, we were responsible for audiovisual production and livestream technology, directed all studio setups, and coordinated a 27-person crew along with collaborating partners—all in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
