This presentation formed part of a larger project on Type 2 diabetes. Together with Happy & Healthy, we produced a series of films for MSD Netherlands exploring the challenges and developments surrounding the condition.
More than one million people in the Netherlands live with Type 2 diabetes, with approximately 1,200 new cases diagnosed every week. Many patients experience complications that can have a life-changing impact, not only on themselves but also on their families. The continuing rise in patient numbers is a growing concern. To encourage knowledge sharing and professional dialogue, MSD Netherlands created a digital platform for healthcare professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The platform approaches the topic from multiple perspectives, providing insights into medication and treatment methods, nutrition and lifestyle, as well as the latest medical and technological developments.
