Overview
1 in 3 people will at some point be diagnosed with cancer. Together with its partners, MSD Netherlands is working towards treatment options that help extend life or improve quality of life.
With this film, we wanted to show how moments of grief and happiness are shared together with the people closest to you.
What
To highlight the impact of immunotherapy and MSD’s role in it for healthcare professionals, the initial idea was to create an informative animation packed with facts and figures: the USPs of immunotherapy, percentages, statistics and bullet points. Accompanied by the payoff ‘Stronger together against cancer’, referring to the many collaborations and partnerships MSD relies on within oncology.
Instead, we proposed a completely different direction: a cinematic mood film. A human interpretation of the slogan ‘Stronger together against cancer’. By telling the story through emotion, we emphasize the personal side of healthcare – supporting families. The result is a film that stands apart from the medical, often highly technical films doctors are exposed to every day.
